Can I join while driving or multitasking?

Driving during groups compromises both safety and presence, and we do not want anyone harmed while participating in a ShareWell support group.

In many groups, members are sharing deeply personal, vulnerable experiences. Being fully present—camera on, attention focused, and distractions minimized—is a way of showing respect for the courage it takes to share. When someone is driving or multitasking, it can feel dismissive, unsafe, or unsettling to others in the room, even if that’s not the intention.

Hosts are expected to enforce this boundary. If someone is driving or engaging in unsafe or distracting behavior, hosts should ask them to pause participation or rejoin when they can be fully present.

Body-doubling and coaching groups may allow for more flexibility depending on the session structure, but as a general rule, we ask members to show up how they would want others to show up for them—present, attentive, and respectful of the shared space.

This standard helps keep ShareWell a safe, supportive, and grounded community for everyone.
