Host Safety Features

Written by ShareWell Support

You can adjust your experience in groups and chat using a few simple tools if something feels uncomfortable or distracting.

If someone is disrupting a group, removal options may depend on your role (hosts often have more moderation control). Otherwise, you can step away or report the behavior if needed.

In chat, you can mute a peer to stop notifications without blocking them. You may also be able to delete messages you’ve sent, depending on platform settings and timing.

Quick actions you can take:

  • Remove someone from a group: Usually available to hosts; otherwise you can leave or report the issue

  • Mute a peer in chat: Stops notifications without blocking the person

  • Delete a chat message: Removes your sent message if the option is available

These tools are there to help you manage your experience and feel comfortable in the space.
