What are friends on ShareWell?

Written by ShareWell Support

Friends on ShareWell are people you connect with after a group. It’s a way to stay in touch with members you felt comfortable with, continue conversations, and build ongoing peer support outside of groups.

You can add someone as a friend after a group or from their profile. If you no longer want to stay connected, you can also remove them at any time, and the connection will be updated.

How friendships work on ShareWell

  • Add or remove a friend: You can send a friend request from someone’s profile and remove them anytime if you no longer want the connection

  • Send a message to a friend: Once connected, you can message them directly through your inbox

  • View friends and requests: Your friend requests and full friends list can be found in your account or messaging section

  • Friend request limits: There may be a limit on how many friend requests you can send to help keep interactions intentional and respectful

  • Unaccepted requests: If someone doesn’t accept your friend request, they are not notified about it

These features are designed to help you connect with others in a way that feels comfortable and in your control.
