What are 1-on-1 calls and how do they work?

Written by ShareWell Support

ShareWell 1-on-1 calls are private, one-on-one peer support sessions with trained Peer Specialists. These are focused, confidential conversations designed to give you more personalized support than a group setting.

Each session is:

  • A private video call (typically around 45 minutes)

  • Guided by a trained Peer Specialist with lived experience

  • Focused on listening, reflection, and support—not advice or therapy

Peer Specialists combine real-life experience with peer support training to create a space that is supportive, structured, and grounded in understanding.

What happens during a 1-on-1 call?

  1. You join a private video session with your Peer Specialist

  2. You guide the conversation based on what you want to talk about

  3. The specialist listens, reflects, and supports you

There’s no set program or pressure—this is your time.
