At ShareWell, group cancellations are rare. However, a group may be canceled if fewer than two participants are present. As a peer support platform, we require at least two members to hold a group — this ensures that meaningful connection and shared support can still take place.
If a host is unable to attend, the group is not canceled. Instead, it becomes a group-hosted group, where peers guide the conversation together. These groups still follow our safety guidelines and ground rules, and often lead to powerful, collaborative support among members.
We know cancellations can be disappointing and appreciate your understanding. We encourage you to check out other upcoming groups that may fit your needs and availability.
