GoCardless makes collecting by Direct Debit easy for everyone from individuals to multi-national corporations.
Direct Debits are a low cost option ideal for regular membership payments.
GoCardless Partnership
We are GoCardless partners. Our integration connects into your existing account and will automatically sync your existing customers, their mandates and payments. With the SheepApp you will also be able to offer payment plans to your members (e.g. pay by instalments).
Giving permission to Sheep
Log into your Sheep account
Navigate to to Sheep > Settings > Integrations
Look for the GoCardless card, the button and status message will guide you: Existing API users will be prompted to re-connect, New GoCardless clients will be prompted to connect.
The Connection/Re-Connection process will take you to a GoCardless authentication screen where existing users can log in using their GoCardless credentials. (New users can also sign up for GoCardless, this may take a couple of days for some organisations).
The GoCardless card in settings will update after connection. The connection will be complete but may not be active (You may be prompted to complete the GoCardless signup or they may be verifying your account).
Existing GoCardless data import
Once you have connected Sheep to GoCardless and enabled the integration Sheep will begin automatically syncing existing contacts and recent payments (going back 14 days). If you require the import of historic payments please request this through your account manager. (This service may be chargeable; data import history is limited to GoCardless integration API.)
GoCardless customers are matched using their name and email address.
The system will attempt to reconcile payments to items in Sheep e.g. a membership or ticket payment using the amount and the date of the transaction.
sheepCRM can integrate to your GoCardless account, the type of plan you are on with GoCardless does not matter (but please note we are not in control of their pricing structure or conditions so if you have any queries on that please contact their support).
