  1. Click on the membership tab  on the person/organisation

  2. Click 'New membership' button at the bottom of the sidebar

  3. Fill in membership type, membership number and start date

  4. Click 'Save'

The new membership will appear as a card in the sidebar. You can make changes to the membership by clicking on the edit button on the card.

Changing a membership

The reason for changing the membership will dictate which of the following options make most sense:

Mistake/Correction

  • Find the contact, open the membership card and edit

  • Change the membership plan in the edit form and click save

Stop/Start Membership

  • Find the contact, open the membership card and edit

  • Edit the end-date to today (or the change date) and save

  • Create a new membership with the new plan type (or renew the old membership and edit the membership plan (see Mistake/Correction)

The forced lapse & new membership may trigger emails if they are configured

Cancel/Re-start

  • Find the contact, open the membership card

  • Click the cancel button

  • Create a new membership with the new plan type (or renew the old membership and edit the membership plan (see Mistake/Correction)

The cancellation & new membership may trigger emails if they are configured
