Using the directory and filters to identify new person or organisation contacts

Contact records are created manually and automatically, to find new records in sheepCRM you can use the contact directory as explained below.

Please enter the contact directory. You will see a number of preset filter buttons above the search window and your list of contacts, All, People, Organisations, Changed and New.

The default 'New' filter

Selecting this option will show you all contact records created since yesterday (any time since midnight).

The default 'Changed' filter

Selecting this option will show you all contact records changed or edited since yesterday (any time since midnight).

Finding new or changed contacts from other dates

You can filter your contacts based on the two rules below, and adding dates to suit your needs.

  1. Created - This is when the contact was first created

  2. Last Updated - This is when the contact was last edited or changed
