Donations can be made online for Appeals created in SheepCRM. Donations can be made as a guest or logged in to your SheepApp account.
Browsing appeals
All the available appeals can be viewed by clicking on 'Make a Donation' on the app homepage. Appeals can be searched for by using the search bar at the top of the page. Clicking on an appeal will bring up a detailed page with more information, targets and goals.
Donating to an appeal
Once an appeal has been selected, you can donate to the appeal by clicking on 'Make a Donation'. You will then be able to specify an amount to donate to the appeal, including setting a custom amount. When setting a custom amount, you may find a minimum limit for donations. This may be present to avoid additional processing or payment fees.
Once an amount is selected, you can continue as a guest, or log in to your account. As a logged in user, your donation process will take less time and allow you to donation via an existing Direct Debit mandate.
You can then choose whether to include Gift Aid with your donation. Gift Aid is reclaimed by the charity from the tax you pay for the current tax year. Please note that your address is needed to identify you as a current UK taxpayer.
As a guest, you will need to provide information about yourself, such as your email address to continue with the donation.
Finally, payment will need to be made to finish the donation. If you are logged in to your account and have a Direct Debit mandate already set-up, you will be able to use your mandate for the donation. If you want to set-up a direct debit mandate, please contact the organisation.
Viewing previous donations
Previous donations can be viewed by logging in to your account, or registering an account with the email address used to make the donation.
Go to the payments section of your app homepage and there will be a donations section on the page, showing all previously made donations.
