Supercharge your booking checklists

Complex bookings can often take place over a long period of time, and it's useful to have an overview of how they're doing. The simplest way to manage this is via a Checklist of booking tasks, but for those needing more fine-grained control, Milestones are our solution.

NB: Milestones are underused and have not yet been ported over to SheepCRM's new theme (Theme 5) therefore the instructions below may be unfamiliar to users used to Theme 5.

Setup:

In Other Settings, ensure your Booking Checklist is populated with the items you wish to see on your booking.

Browse to sheepcrm.com/<flock>/milestone_def/ and click "New", then the pencil to edit.

Enter the available checks relating to this Milestone Definition.

Repeat for as many milestones as required

Back in "Other Settings" click to "Booking Settings"

Apply certain milestones to certain parts of a booking

If Milestones are enabled for a Booking, then in Theme 4 you should see a link to "Checklists" below the main booking info.

Milestones have their own form of lifecycle events in the form of Triggers. These can be set to fire on completion, or on a due date based on the start or end of the booking +/- a number of days.
