Uploading Your Spreadsheet: File Types, Limits, and Common Errors

Learn how to upload your spreadsheet correctly—file types, size limits, and how to fix common errors.

✅ Supported File Types:

.xlsx (Excel)

  • We don’t currently support .csv, .xls, .tsv, Google Sheets links, or password-protected files.


📦 File Size Limits:

  • Max file size: 10 MB

  • Max number of rows: 10,000

  • Larger uploads may result in slower performance or timeout errors.


⚠️ Common Upload Errors:

To prevent errors, ensure that your spreadsheet meets these conditions:

Error Type

Description & Solution

Merged Cells Detected

Unmerge all cells in your sheet, save the changes, and reupload the file.

Formulas Detected

Remove all formulas from your sheet before uploading.

Multiple Sheets Detected

Please upload a file with only one sheet.

Unsupported File Format

Only .xls and .xlsx, formats are supported. Save your sheet in a compatible format before uploading.

Corrupted or Unreadable File

Verify that your file is not corrupted by opening it locally. If the issue persists, create a new file with the same data and reupload it.

Empty File

Your file must contain data. Ensure it is not empty before uploading.


🔄 How to Upload:

  1. Login to your account

  2. Drag and drop your spreadsheet, or click to select a file

  3. Once uploaded, you’ll see a preview of your columns
