Comprehensively view user activity by date, user, and action type.

This guide will walk you through understanding and using the User Activity Report interface to monitor user actions across the platform. It’s especially useful for administrators tracking audit trails, managing compliance, or investigating specific events.

📅 Time Period Selection

Purpose:

Filter user activity by a specific date range.

How to Use:

  1. Click the calendar icon under Time Period.

  2. Choose a start and end date.

  3. You can chose a preset default or custom time range


🔍 Search Filters

Search by Activity:

  • Use this field to search for specific activities such as "appointment," "form," or "treatment".

  • Supports keyword-based filtering.

Role Filter:

  • Narrow the report to specific user roles like Administrators, Technicians, etc.

User Filter:

  • Focus on actions taken by a specific user (e.g., Linda W).


📊 Report Table Overview

Each row in the table represents an individual user action. Here's how to interpret the columns:

Column

Description

Date

The timestamp when the action occurred (e.g., 01/23/2025, 11:32 AM).

User

The name of the person who performed the action.

Role

The user’s role during the action (e.g., Administrator).

Activity Detail

A summary of what the user did, such as creating, deleting, or modifying items.

Additional Activity...

Extended details (if applicable), often showing related content (e.g., template names, email recipients).


🔄 Common Activities Shown

Here are some examples of typical actions and what they indicate:

Activity

What It Means

Added/Deleted Treatment

User created or removed a treatment record.

Created Appointment

A new appointment was scheduled, often with additional details.

Sent Form

The user sent a form (e.g., to a client's email).


📥 Downloading Reports

  • Click the Download button to export the filtered activity list in CSV or PDF format

  • Useful for offline audits, historical logs, or sharing with other teams.


🔄 Generate Report View

After setting filters:

  1. Click the View Report button.

  2. The table will refresh to show only matching activities.


🔗 Additional Options

  • Click on User Activity CSV (top-right) to access a preformatted CSV export.

  • Column headers can often be sorted (indicated by sort icons next to "Date", "User", etc.).
