Enabling Your Pet Portal & Sharing the Link with Clients

To get started with your Pet Portal, head to your Client Communication Settings under the Admin section. There, you'll find a tab labeled Pet Portal Settings.


Activating the Portal & Customizing Your URL

Once you've enabled the portal, you'll have the option to customize the URL for your practice’s Pet Portal. We recommend using your clinic name or something easily recognizable for your clients.
For example, if your practice is called Shepherd Veterinary Hospital, your URL might look like:
https://petportal.vet/shepherd-veterinary-hospital

URLs are unique and can only be used once. If your desired URL is already taken, try adding your location or a unique identifier.
For example: https://petportal.vet/shepherd-veterinary-hospital-az


Sharing & Customizing the Portal

Once your portal is activated and the URL is set, you're ready to share it anywhere — your website, social media, emails, printed materials, and more!

You can also personalize your portal by:

  • Choosing a home screen image from the available options

  • Selecting a theme that aligns with your practice’s branding

  • Customizing the landing page message
