How to Confirm a Booking or Introduction

How to accept and pay for a booking your tutor has scheduled.

Either you or your tutor can set up a booking, and it's just down to the other side to accept it. If you want to know how to book a lesson, visit this help article. If you have received one, keep reading!

Once your tutor has sent over a booking request, you'll be notified by email and you can see it appear in your conversation on the messages page.

From here, all you need to do is go to your bookings page to accept it. Use the 'manage bookings' tab and select 'bookings' to see all of your introductions and lessons in chronological order.

Here, you'll be able to see the booking request is "pending" your approval:

Double check the details shown, if changes are needed you can click the green 'Edit' button and follow this help article. Otherwise, just click the blue 'Confirm' button or the pending badge to go to the next step.

There will be a popup, where you can select or add a payment method, and accept the booking. Once you've accepted it, it's ready to go!

You'll be sent an email invite 10 minutes before each session with a link to join the classroom, or just head to your 'bookings page', where you can see the session in progress. Click the blue 'Launch' button to enter the Sherpa classroom!

Please note, you are only charged for each session 24 hours before it starts, and you can refund for free up to 12 hours before. A late cancellation will incur a 50% charge.
