Shift’s Defense Ventures Program identifies emerging innovators from across the U.S. military and places them into short-term work environments within technology and venture capital firms.
Our industry immersion program is a career development opportunity designed to increase retention of the most promising early and mid-career Airmen, Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, and Department of Defense (DoD) civilians.
By creating lasting relationships between the DoD and the private sector, this program has been considered a success by participating VCs and the U.S. Air Force - awarding Shift an extension to continue the program for another four years for 1,000 military service members.
