No, host companies are not required to guarantee full-time employment upon completion of a SkillBridge internship. The employer may offer a job, but the service member does not have to accept it.
By design, the SkillBridge program provides eligible service members with job training and civilian employment experience to acquire skills, knowledge, or abilities that will assist them with job opportunities in the civilian sector. The program must offer a high probability of post-service employment with the host company or any other employer.
