Settlement Dashboard - Filters Added

Shipwell has added our planned filters for the Settlement Dashboard including:

  • Carrier: Invoicing party

  • Custom Data: Represents Custom Reference Data for associated shipment

  • Due Date: Invoice due date identified by carrier

  • Exceptions: Invoice exceptions

  • Invoice Date: Date when invoice was received

  • Mode: Associated shipment mode

  • Source: Invoice source

  • Status: Invoice status

  • Stop Address: Associated shipment stop addresses

  • Stop Company Name: Associated shipment stop company names

These filters can all be applied to saved views.

As a reminder filters within Shipwell the default behavior of filters are as follows:

  • Multiple items or selections within a single filter field: Treat the multiple items within the single field as an ‘OR’. For example, if applying ‘Already Invoiced’ and ‘Missing Document’ are selected as an ‘Exceptions’ filter than it will apply all invoices that are indicated as ‘Already Invoiced’ and all invoices that have a ‘Missing Document’. Note that sometimes we allow for multiple items within single fields to use a different option of ‘EXCEPT’.

  • Multiple Filters Applied: Treat the multiple filters applied as an ‘AND’ between the filters applied. However, when applying filters between different fields they are considered an AND. For example, if applying ‘Already Invoiced’ and ‘Missing Document’ are selected as an ‘Exceptions’ filter along with a ‘Status’ filter of ‘Exceptions’ then it will only display invoices that have a ‘Status’ of an ‘Exception’ AND an ‘Exceptions' of ‘Already Invoiced' OR ‘Missing document’.

Settlement Dashboard - Bulk Actions Added

Shipwell has now added the ability to perform bulk actions to change multiple invoices' status on the Settlement Dashboard. Just select the invoices that you want to update the status and then select ‘Settlement Bulk Actions’ and the status you are seeking to move an item into. Note if there is a restriction on moving an invoice then it will ignore that invoice and just switch the status of the of other invoices.

Orders Dashboard Updates (new/v3) - New Filters and Columns Added

Shipwell has made several Orders Dashboard (new/v3) enhancements that includes new filters and a new column.

New Filters

  • Created: Date order was created

  • Delivery Company: Delivery company name for order

  • Pickup Company: Pickup company name for order

  • Tags (supported by both OR and EXCLUDE options): Tags on the order

New Columns that can be added:

API Changes

  • Best Practices

    • Our Best Practices sections in the documentation simplify the way you connect with our API. Follow the best practices to integrate faster, streamline workflows, and get more done in the recommended way. It's integration, without guesswork. New best practices have been added around the following in this release:

  • Address Book

    • Added external_reference query parameter that may be used when querying the Address Book / Locations.

  • Events

    • Increased maximum limit (aka page size) when querying for Events and Webhooks to 200 items per page

  • Shipments

    • Added temperature_unit property to Shipments. temperature_unit is the system of measurement used for the temperature value, i.e. "F" for Fahrenheit and "C" for Celsius.

  • CEVA

    • CEVA custom workflow is no longer supported. Optional feature flags and optional properties (i.e. ceva_enabled on a Company, ceva_instant_rate_quote in Quoting) related to CEVA Logistics custom workflow are no longer supported. Note: Removal of optional properties is not a breaking API change. CEVA integration is now supported by the standard LTL integration process.
