Save Customer Contact Information & Preferences

Save customer contact information, select their primary phone number and email, and set their preferred contact method (SMS, email, or both)

Click the Lists icon on the left-side navigation of the screen.

Select Customers from the list.

Check out Add Customers to learn more about adding customers to your shop.

Search the list for the customer you’d like to edit the contact information for. Click on their name to open up the customer info menu.

Edit Customer Information

Select the … ellipsis on the right-hand side and select Edit Customer to edit customer information.

Add Contact Information

Edit customer phone number email address and preferred contact method

A customer may have more than one phone number or email address.

Select Add Phone or Add Email to add additional phone numbers and email addresses to the customer profile.

Select the star icon next to the customer’s preferred primary number and email.

Preferred Contact Method

Select SMS, Email, or Both to mark the customer's preferred contact method. This will be the default contact method when communicating with the customer.

Change Contact Method Within an Estimate

It may come up that a customer wants communication for a specific estimate to go to their non-primary contact method.

From within the estimate, select the Customer tab on the right-side panel.

Select the phone number or email address to open a dropdown menu to select the preferred contact method for this specific estimate.
