Click on the pink "+" sign at the bottom of the screen. If you don't see this, you need to change your role in the app from "Doer" (yellow button) to "Shouter" (pink button) in the "Profile" menu (the rightmost menu at the bottom).
Choose the category of the task you want to have done.
Give your task a title that briefly but accurately describes it.
Add a detailed description. A complete description should include:
- A good and detailed description of the scope of the task.
- What materials you have and what the Doer needs to bring themselves.
- Your expectations of the Doer's experience.
5. Add images of the task! This will help you better convey the scope.
6. Set a date. This way, Doers will know when the task needs to be completed.
7. Select the location where the task needs to be performed. Currently, we are only active in the Amsterdam region. Outside of this region, you cannot shout tasks at the moment. However, you can bid on tasks in the Amsterdam region from outside the region.
8. Determine your price. You can set a price in two ways:
- By entering a fixed price.
- Or choose for receiving bids instead.
Consider how much time you expect the job to take and what a reasonable hourly rate is for the work to be done. Let this be the framework for setting your price. This price can only be a starting point, as you can use the chat feature to change the price with the Doer before you approve the bid.
Remember to keep the conversation going through the chat and to accept the bid once you have chosen a specific Doer for the job. After accepting a Doer, the other users who placed a bid are automatically notified that the job has been assigned to someone else.
How do I pay the performer (Doer) of the job?
Once you accept a bid from the appropriate Doer for the task, we reserve the amount and keep the money safe until the task is marked completed in the app by the Doer, and the Shouter has then approved the work. After the Shouter approves the task, the reserved money is automatically released and we pay the Doer for the task.
