Overview

Locations

Add locations of your customer by clicking the "Add Location" button. Note that there is a section called "Location Name" - use this to indicate a customers "billing or shipping" address, the "headquarters" or if they only have one location, you could leave this blank.
If there are multiple locations there will always need to be one "Primary Location"  - this is the address that will come up in reports, and pinned on the map.

Contacts

Add contacts to your customer by clicking the "Add Contact" button. Note the Email Status and Email Consent. Due to the CASL (canada's anti-spam legislation), this is a mandatory step in making sure that emails being sent to these contacts are NOT spam, and that you have consent to send to them. Add as many contacts as you need and just like "Locations" there will also be a "Primary Contact" which you can change.

Tasks

A list of tasks that had been assigned to that customer will be listed in the Overview. You will also be able to create Tasks from this page as well.
Create a Task by going to Add Task > (note that customer name will auto fill) > Choose category type > Assign to (leave blank if no assignee) > Task date > Describe your task > Save

Appointments

All appointments, from all years and all seasons for this customer will be on the customer overview. Choose the appointments you wish to see by default by going to company settings > appointments (click here to learn more).

Add and appointment from the customer view page by clicking "Add Appointment" (note that it will take you to the regular appointment add page) > fill in the information like normal. Learn more about adding an appointment here.

Notes

Add a note to the customer page - this could be anything from describing the type of phone call you had with them (eg; asked us to call them back, the manager was not in), to whether or not they are going to make it for an appointment. This area is a good place to show what type of contact different sales reps have had with a customer, which would help to eliminate any overlap.

To add a Note:

  1. Click "Add Note"

  2. Type > Choose the type of note it is from the drop down list

  3. Season > Choose the season this note is for as well as the year

  4. Call Status > adjust the call status to mark what stage the customer is at

  5. Enter your note > Add the details of the communication in this field

  6. Add Note
