Customer's who are already in the system

Your customer contacts who are already entered into your account will not have to fill out a registration form when they first login. The system will recognize the email address and automatically jump to allowing a password to be set.

Recovering and resetting passwords

If your customer forgets their password they can click "forgot my password" on the login screen, which will send them an email with directions on how to create a new password.

You can manually send a customer a password reset link by going to the customers page, clicking "Edit" on the contact. In the Edit Contact window go to "Website Password" > click "send reset link".  If the contact already has a password set, the word "SET" will be next to "Website Password" - if they have not set their password yet, it will say "NOT SET" > invite user.

What if they aren't in the system?

If someone is trying to register, who doesn't have an account set up in the system - they will be directed to a registration page. When the new customer submits their registration form, you will get an email notification saying that they are requesting access. You would then approve or deny this customer access. Once approved, they will have access to browse/place orders through the Showroom. All of their information that was in the registration form, will go to creating a new customer profile in the system.

Approving pending customers
You can approve customers thru the email notification you receive or by going into the admin panel.

You can see new customer registrations in the dashboard:

As well as by filtering for "Pending" status in Customers:

Select the customer profile >Choose the "Edit" button to select the customer's currency prior to approval >Save Changes.

Now choose the "Approve" button to complete the approval process. Make sure the customer groups match the customer groups which have access to the brands on the website.
