What is The Bill That Starts the Night?
The Bill That Starts the Night is a Shuffle community event in Liverpool. We’re bringing 100 Shuffle customers together at Ours for the first stop of the night, before encouraging everyone to head out and explore more Shuffle spots across Liverpool.
When and where does it run?
Thursday 24th September 2026 at Ours, 8 Castle Street, Liverpool.
Who is eligible?
This is an invite-only event for selected Shuffle customers. Customers must RSVP using the link in their invitation. Places are limited and an invitation does not guarantee a place until the RSVP is confirmed.

Can I bring a +1?
Yes. Invited customers can bring one guest. Their +1 will also need to have the Shuffle app downloaded and their bank account connected before attending. This will be checked on the door.
What is included at Ours?
Shuffle will cover the first part of the night at Ours, with drinks and food provided for guests during the event. Guests are also welcome to stay at Ours: it is included in the guaranteed minimum 30% cashback available from 8pm until midnight. After that, guests can continue their night at other participating Shuffle venues across Liverpool.
What happens after Ours?
Guests can head to any of the participating Shuffle venues featured in the event email. These include Mojave, Pasta Cosa, Arties, Queens Wine Bar & Bistro, Maray and Detour.
From 8pm, the wider activation begins and the guaranteed cashback at participating venues will be available to all existing Shuffle customers, not just those attending the event.
Will customers get increased cashback at participating venues?
Yes. From 8pm until midnight on Thursday 24th September, Ours and the other participating venues will have a guaranteed minimum of 30% cashback. Customers can stay at Ours and receive the cashback there, or use it at another participating venue. Customers should pay as normal using the card linked to their Shuffle account for the cashback to be applied. This offer is open to all existing Shuffle customers — customers do not need to have been invited to or attended The Bill That Starts the Night to receive the increased cashback.
Do customers need to attend the event at Ours to get 30% cashback?
No. The event at Ours is invite-only, but the 30% minimum guaranteed cashback from 8pm–midnight is available to all existing Shuffle customers at Ours and the other participating venues.
How do I get the cashback?
Pay at an eligible participating venue using the card linked to your Shuffle account. Cashback will be applied automatically as normal and may take up to 2 days to appear.
Do I have to visit the other venues after Ours?
No. The rest of the night is completely up to you. You can stay at Ours and receive the increased cashback there, or visit another participating venue if you want to keep the night going.
Do I need to RSVP?
Yes. Customers should RSVP through the link in their invitation.
What if I can no longer attend?
