Return Policies

An overview of our manufacturing partner return policies.

Written by Laura Cooper

Needing to return an order?

Each of our manufacturing partners have their own return policy for orders. Take a look below to see if your order is eligible for a return:

Carrier: Carrier can accept returns for equipment that has not been installed. The return policy and restocking fee vary depending on the distributor.

PPG Paints: Once paint is tinted, it cannot be returned. If you have non-paint items that are needing to be returned, like sundries, caulk, or brushes, a return may be initiated and accepted by the PPG Paints store.

MSI Surfaces: Once product has been opened, MSI Surfaces cannot accept a return unless the product is damaged and within the 90 days return period. For products that are being returned, there is a 5-10% restocking fee that will be confirmed by the MSI Surfaces team and pictures of the damage are required.

GE Appliances: GE Appliances accepts returns within 30 days of authorization and no later than 90 days from delivery or invoice. Items must be in their original condition with all parts and packaging included. Restocking fees may apply depending on the product’s condition. Learn more about GE Appliances’ return policy here.

For home warranty customers: Once an appliance is installed, it cannot be returned. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Skyline/SWI: Skyline/SWI will process a return for any cabinet order as long as the cabinet is still boxed. Depending on the order, there is a 20% restocking fee and the shipping fee is non-refundable.

AO Smith: AO Smith has a 90 day return policy.

How to request a return

Start a return from the order itself. Here is the full flow:

  1. Go to the Orders page and find your order. You can search by property address, order number, PO number, contact, or the user who placed the order.

  2. Open the order and select Start return.

  3. Select the items you want to return.

  4. Choose the condition each item is in.

  5. Choose the reason for the return.

  6. Add any additional notes. Details about what happened give the manufacturer what they need to make a decision.

  7. Submit the request.

You can also send us a message through chat and we will start the return for you.

What happens after you submit

The return itself is with the manufacturer. Sibi facilitates it.

Once you submit, we send the request to the manufacturer and loop in everyone involved so the whole thread stays in one place. The manufacturer decides whether the return is approved, whether a restocking fee applies, and how the item gets picked up or shipped back. We will confirm those next steps with you as soon as we hear back.
