Common to All Zaps:

  • Tenant or Tenant ID: this is your master Tenant environment. The ID is the uniqueID of your tenant which can also be found in the console. When you click on this configuration it will pull up the available Tenant IDs available with your login.

  • SideDrawer or SideDrawer ID: this is the uniqueID of the specific SideDrawer where any Action needs to take place. Click on the 3 vertical dots and select Custom. A pop up will show you all the previous steps from where you can select the specific SideDrawer ID.

  • Affiliate or Affiliate ID: this is the name of your specific Affiliate under the Tenant. If you're configuring an Action, select the Affiliate ID in a similar way as the SideDrawer ID above.

  • Info Request ID (also Plan Request ID): you'll need to select the specific Info Request you're either creating, watching for an update or watching for completion. The dropdown will provide all the available Info Requests in your Tenant.

Associate External ID to SideDrawer:

Use this Action when you want to integrate a 3rd party application with SideDrawer and you want to associate the unique ID of the 3rd party application within SideDrawer's meta data. For example, if you're connecting Wealthbox CRM with SideDrawer, you can add the unique ID of the client within Wealthbox as a metadata value within SideDrawer.

In future zaps, you can link the SideDrawer of the client with their Wealthbox CRM ID to link the two together.

  • External ID Name: this is the 3rd party metadata field you want to link; e.g. Wealthbox CRM.

  • External ID: this is the unique value from the 3rd party CRM that you can associate to the SideDrawer.

  • Skip duplicate external IDs? True or False: True means if the exact same unique ID already exists, then it will not be duplicated. If you select False, it will duplicate the ID.

Info Request Sent X Days Ago and Y Complete:

Use this Trigger when you want to identify which Info Requests were updated but had been sent X days ago and are still less than Y% completed.

  • Days since sent (specifically for Trigger: Info Request Sent X Days Ago and Y Percent Complete): this is how many days prior was the Info Request sent. Please enter only a number, like "7" days.

  • Minimum completion % (specifically for Trigger: Info Request Sent X Days Ago and Y Percent Complete): this is the % level which can not be crossed for this trigger event to take place. For example, if the value is "65" then this trigger will take place if the Info Request has been sent more than X days ago, and is still under 65% completed. Please only enter the number "65" and the system will covert it to a %.

Updated Info Request Plan Item

Use this Trigger when an item within an Info Request is updated.

This Trigger has multiple configuration options:

  • Plan Request Item Filter: select the starting point for the Trigger. There are a number of use cases for each option - but we expect Plan Request - select a field from any specific plan within a tenant will be most useful for the vast majority of Zapier users.

  • Item Name: this is the specific item within the Info Request that will be used to update any item within the Action step.

Create a Reminder

Use this Action when you want to create a Reminder within a SideDrawer.

  • Who should receive this Reminder?: This is recipient of the reminder and is selected based on the "Role" of the Collaborator, e.g. Client - Professional. Any Collaborator with the same Role will receive this Reminder.

  • Custom message for recipient: You can type a specific message - make it unique for this specific reminder.

  • When do you want to send this Reminder?: This requires a Zapier time/date configuration such as:

    • +1minute = sends the reminder after 1 minute. Substitute "1" with any time delay as needed.

    • +1day = sends the reminder after 1 day.

    • +5days = sends the reminder after 5 days. Use this format to also put an end to the recurrence.

  • Add a recurrence to your reminder: You'll be given an option to select the frequency of the recurrence of your reminder:
