However, it's important to note that if you apply for a Sidekick Loan credit searches will be performed.
Initially we will use a soft search so that you can see if you're eligible. Soft searches are not visible to other lenders and don't affect your credit score. If you choose to proceed with the loan, only then will we record a hard search, which will be visible to other lenders and may affect your credit score. We use credit searches to assess suitability and affordability of our loan products, ensuring responsible lending practices.
