Who is GB Bank and are my funds safe?

Customers who previously signed up to our Easy Access Savings account would have had a savings account provided by GB Bank. These savings accounts will continue to operate for existing customers, but they are not available to new customers.

Our Fixed Term savers are provided by GB Bank and these will continue to be available to existing and new customers.

GB Bank has a full UK banking licence and offers the same level of protection as the traditional high street banks.

GB Bank Limited is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority (Financial Services Register number: 850286).

Your deposits with GB Bank are protected up to £85,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). Any deposits you hold above the limit are unlikely to be covered.
