What is an LTAF?

Updated over a month ago

An LTAF is short-form for “long-term asset fund” and is a semi-liquid investment instrument specific to the UK.

The LTAF is a type of UK authorised open-ended fund, designed to invest in long-term illiquid assets, while providing some flexibility for investors wanting to buy and sell. They were created to allow a wider pool of investors to access the private market universe.
