Do you want a personal touch for your Siit bot? It's fantastic to have your own unique logo and customized bot username. The good news is, you can easily achieve that.

Follow these steps to make it happen:

  1. Access Settings: Head to your admin dashboard and navigate to AI Assist. Scroll down to "Choose an Identity for Your AI Assist" appearance on the page.

  2. Selection: Here, you'll see options to personalize the logo & Name of your bot's appearance.

  3. Preview: As you make changes to your logo and name, check out the preview to ensure it looks perfect.

  4. Save and Apply: Once satisfied, hit the save button to upload the file. From this point forward, all public interactions with the bot will display the customized username and image you've configured. Please note that Slack restrictions prevent us from customizing the image for whispers (messages meant for a single user).

⚠️ Logo Requirements:

  • Image size must be between 512px by 512px and 2000px by 2000px

To Update the Name in Slack Sidebar:

  1. Access Slack Administration: Open Slack and go to Administration > Manage Apps.

  2. Find Siit App: Locate the Siit app in your list of installed apps.

  3. Bot User Section: Scroll down to "Bot User."

  4. Edit Bot Name: Click "Edit Bot Name" to the left.

  5. Save Changes: Once you've updated the name, save your changes.

  6. Refresh Slack: Refresh your Slack window to see the updated name in the sidebar.

Enjoy Your Customization!

⚠️ Please Note: Due to Slack's permissions, Siit cannot directly modify the app's name as it appears in the Slack sidebar. To change this, you'll need to make adjustments through your Slack settings.
