The People Workflow feature in Siit Admin Console is a powerful tool designed to automate and streamline HR and IT processes related to employee events, such as onboarding, end of probation period, offboarding, birthdays, and work anniversaries.

It allows you to personalize and automate communication and task assignments for these events, creating a more efficient and employee-centric experience.

1. How can I set up workflow automation in Siit?

To set up workflow automation in Siit and enhance your employee experience, follow these simple steps:

Access the Workflow: Log in to your Siit admin console and navigate to the Workflow section.

Define Triggers: Within the Workflow section, you can select a trigger that will initiate a sequence of actions. For example, you can trigger the workflow based on events like an employee's start date.

Configure Actions: Once you've chosen the trigger, configure the actions you want to automate. For instance, you can set Siit to automatically send direct communications via Slack, email, or Teams. You can also define the recipient based on People data, such as the primary employee, their relation (manager, direct reports, teammates), or specific audience groups that can be filtered using audience rules. All this data is derived from the People table in Siit.

Customize Workflow: Tailor the workflow to your specific needs. Siit offers the flexibility to add or modify actions to align with your organization's unique requirements.

Save and Activate 🚀: After configuring your workflow, save your settings and activate the workflow. Siit will then carry out the defined actions automatically when the trigger event occurs.

2. What are some common use cases for People Workflow in Siit?

People Workflow in Siit can be applied to a variety of HR and IT processes. Here are some common use cases:

Onboarding: Automatically send welcome messages, assign necessary access, and schedule introductory meetings for new employees.
