Requirements
In order to proceed with configuring login with SSO through Okta, you must:
Have access to an Okta tenant
Be an Okta administrator to that tenant
Step One - Add the Siit App to Okta
Log in to your organization’s Okta tenant and select the Classic UI.
Navigate to Applications > Applications > Browser App Catalog, search for Siit, and then click Add Integration. Note that the two Applications references are not duplicated.
Enter an Application Label in General Settings. This is the name under which the Siit app will appear in your Okta dashboard.
Go to the tab Sign On and click on Edit.
In the Advanced Sign-on Settings, insert your Audience URI and change the Application username format to Email.
To find your Audience URI, login to Siit, go to Settings > Security > Configuring SAML SSO for Okta, and copy the value for Audience URI.
Click on Save.
In the Metadata details section, you will find the credentials to configure Okta SSO on Siit.
Step Two - Configure SSO in Siit
Go back to your Siit Admin. Click on Settings > Security.
Provide the following information for Okta integration:
SSO Service URL
Identity Provider Issuer
Signing Certificate
Click on Save.
Step Three - Assign Users
Open your Okta Dashboard and go to Applications.
Click on your new Siit SAML app.
Switch to the Assignments tab, click Assign, and select Assign to Groups.
In the Assign Siit to Users dialog, click Assign on Everyone to enable Siit Admin SAML app to all users in your organization, and click Done. Alternatively, you can assign separate groups or individual users.
Step Four - Testing Okta SSO
Once everything is set up, navigate to your Siit login page.
Test the Okta Single Sign-On functionality to ensure a smooth and secure login experience.
