Sikka.fun is permissionless, so creator activity can affect a coin’s community momentum, demand, and market activity. A coin’s value is not guaranteed, and normal market, concentration, and speculative risks remain.
However, Sikka.fun incorporates safeguards such as smart contract-based bonding curves, predefined pricing rules, self-custodial wallets, and onchain transactions to reduce common creator-controlled risks.
No Hidden Creator Premine: Creators do not receive a special token allocation for launching a coin. If they want to acquire coins, they must do so through the same bonding curve as other users. There is no fixed supply reserved exclusively for creators at the initial price.
Pricing Continues Without the Creator: Sikka.fun uses a constant-product bonding curve, where prices are determined algorithmically and reserves update after every trade. Trading does not require an order book, manual market maker, or creator-controlled pricing.
High Initial Virtual Reserves: The bonding curve starts with substantial virtual reserves. These are mathematical pricing parameters, not deposited assets that a creator can withdraw. They help deepen the initial curve, moderate extreme early price movements, and reduce certain MEV and execution risks.
Creators Cannot Withdraw Bonding-Curve Funds: SHM used in bonding-curve trading is managed according to the smart contract rules rather than being controlled by the creator. Creator inactivity therefore does not allow the creator to remove the bonding-curve funds.
Creators Trade Under the Same Curve: Any creator-held coins are subject to the same bonding-curve pricing and price impact as other holdings. Larger buys and sells move the curve, so a large position cannot simply be exited at the current displayed price.
Minimum-Output Protection: Users can specify minimum acceptable output for trades. If execution would fall below that amount because of price movement or transaction ordering, the trade can revert instead of completing at an unexpectedly unfavorable rate.
Activity Is Visible Onchain: Trading activity is recorded onchain, allowing users to independently review wallet and transaction activity, including accumulation and selling by large holders.
Users Retain Control of Their Wallets: Sikka.fun is non-custodial. Coin creators do not control user wallets or funds, and creator inactivity does not affect user custody.
