Net Buy Contest rewards traders for building and holding positions across 3 selected coins, with 11,000,000 SHM in total rewards available across the Top 30 eligible traders.
The idea is simple: buy one or more contest coins, grow your net buy during the contest buy period, and maintain your position through the hold check period.
The higher your qualifying net buy, the higher you can climb - with 2,000,000 SHM for 1st place.

How Net Buy Works
Your ranking is based on your combined net buy across the contest coins.
Net Buy = SHM spent buying contest coins â SHM received from selling them
A negative net buy counts as zero.

Traders who rank between 11 and 30, maintain at least 500,000 SHM in qualifying net buy, and pass the hold check can earn 100,000 SHM each.

The 4-Day Hold Check Period
The contest ends on November 2 at 6:00 PM IST, followed immediately by a 4-day hold check period ending on November 6 at 6:00 PM IST.
To remain eligible for rewards:
Your qualifying position must remain intact through the hold check period
Do not sell any amount of the contest coins during the hold check
Do not transfer any amount of the contest coins out during the hold check
New buys during the hold check do not increase your contest net buy
Selling or transferring any amount during the hold check makes you ineligible for rewards
âSelling during the contest buy period is allowed and simply reduces your net buy.
âSelling or transferring during the hold check period, however, makes you ineligible.
In short: build your net buy during the contest, then maintain your position through the full hold check period.
How Winners Are Ranked
Participants are ranked based on their net buy across the contest coins, subject to the hold check and eligibility review.
âIf two or more eligible participants have the same net buy, the higher rank goes to the trader who reached that net buy first.

1. What is net buy?
Net buy is the amount of SHM you spend buying the contest coins, minus the SHM you receive from selling them.
For example, if you buy 15M SHM worth of contest coins and sell 5M SHM worth, your net buy is 10M SHM.
2. Do I need to trade all 3 contest coins?
No. You can trade any one, two, or all three contest coins. Your net buy is calculated across whichever eligible contest coins you trade.
Trades in other coins do not count.
3. Does trading volume determine my rank?
No. Your ranking is based on net buy, not total trading volume.
Buying and selling the same amount may generate trading volume, but your net buy would return to zero.
4. Can I sell during the contest buy period?
Yes. Any SHM you receive from selling the contest coins during the contest buy period reduces your net buy.
For example, if you buy 15M SHM worth and sell 5M SHM worth during the buy period, your net buy becomes 10M SHM.
5. What happens after the contest ends on 2nd Novemeber?
A 4-day hold check period begins immediately after the contest. The hold check period will run through 6th Novemeber, 6 PM IST.
Your qualifying position must remain intact through the hold period to remain eligible for rewards.
6. Can I sell during the hold check period?
No. Selling or transferring out any amount of the contest coins during the hold check makes you ineligible for rewards.
7. Can I buy more during the hold check period?
Yes, but additional buys during the hold check do not increase your contest net buy.
8. How many traders can earn rewards in this contest?
Rewards are available for up to 30 eligible traders.
The Top 10 have individual reward tiers, while ranks 11â30 can earn 100,000 SHM each if they meet the required minimum net buy.
9. What is the minimum net buy to earn a reward?
It depends on your reward tier.
The minimum is 500,000 SHM for ranks 11â30. Top 10 positions have higher minimum net buy requirements as shown in the rewards table above.
10. Is leaderboard rank alone enough to qualify for a reward?
No. You must also meet the minimum net buy requirement for your reward tier, pass the hold check, complete the required verification, and meet all other eligibility requirements.
11. Which verification do I need to complete for reward eligibility?
