How to Order via Purchase Order (PO)

PO ordering made simple—how to submit a purchase order and frequently asked questions

Team owners can upload a purchase order (PO) directly on your SimpleLab Team account. Please make sure the PO includes the following.

Include the following details:

  • Purchase Order #

  • Purchase Order Date

  • Key Contact Name, Phone, Email Address

  • Shipping Recipient Name, Phone, Address

  • Billing Contact Name, Phone, Address, Email

  • Item Name, SKU, Quantity, Price

How to Upload a Purchase Order:

  1. Sign in to your Team Account: gosimplelab.com/signin

  2. Click Team Settings from the drop down under your name in the upper right

  3. Click "Payments"

  4. (Scroll down to the "Upload Purchase Order" section and upload the file and submit

Please also note, that if you are tax exempt, be sure to upload your tax exemption documentation to the "General Settings" section of your Team Settings first!

Frequently Asked Questions

I don’t see the “Team Settings” option from the drop down. Why?

Only the Team owner is able to access and edit the Team Settings function. Only the Team account owner is able to access the Payments and Upload Purchase Order sections.

Can I email the purchase order or does it have to be submitted through the Team account?

For fastest processing, it is recommended that you upload the PO directly via your Team account. However, you can also email the purchase order, making sure to specify your Team name, to hello@gosimplelab.com.

Do you require a minimum order quantity (MOQ) for PO orders?

No, there is no minimum order quantity (MOQ) for purchase orders.

How do I track the status of an order placed via PO?

Once we have reviewed your Purchase Order and ensured any necessary terms have been established, you will see the status of the PO update from “Pending” to “Approved” and once the order has been fulfilled, to “Processed”. Once the order has been processed, it will become trackable under “Team Orders” (from the drop down under your name in the navigation), as well as “Manage Tests” → “Pending Tests” menu.

What payment terms do you offer (Net 30 etc)?

Our standard terms are Net 15, however pending an approved credit application, we also can offer Net 30.

Do you require a credit application before accepting PO terms?

Yes, please make sure you have submitted a credit application. See attachment below.

When will I be invoiced—at shipment, delivery, or order placement?

Invoices are issued upon shipment.

Can you provide W-9, COI, or vendor onboarding documents?

Yes, SimpleLab W-9 is available for download. See attachment below.

Do you accept tax-exempt orders?

Yes. Please be sure to upload your tax exemption documentation to the "General Settings" section of your Team Settings first!
