Enter the 6-digit test ID that appears on the materials and complete the requested fields–including the digital Sample Information. Completing activation and digital Sample Information ensures that the laboratory has all of the necessary information to process and test the sample as quickly as possible.
It is critical that you activate and complete the Sample Information prior to shipping the sample to the laboratory.
Failure to activate prior to shipping may result in delays.

Why do I need to activate the test?
The activation process registers the test for analysis and determines who has access to the report dashboard, Sample Information, and results.
I have a SimpleLab Team account. Whose information do I enter when activating?
If you are a member of a SimpleLab Team account and manage testing on behalf of a client, make sure to enter your end client’s name and email during activation to correctly assign the test to them. You and your team will always have access and ownership over any tests that you activate on behalf of others. Entering your client’s information during activation will ensure that they are able to view and share their results as well.
It is recommended that you do not enter your own contact information when activating on behalf of your end client.
What happens if I don’t complete the digital Sample Information at time of activation?
If you do not complete the digital Sample Information at time of activation, you can access the digital Sample Information on your SimpleLab Account under the Manage Tests section of the navigation or via the report dashboard link you received following kit activation.
I made a typo when activating the test. How do I fix it?
If you made an error during kit activation to either the name or email associated with the test, please email hello@gosimplelab.com or use the live chat feature and our team can assist you in correcting the information.
If you want to edit the Sample Information, you can do so anytime yourself. Just click on the test ID you want to edit information for, select “Report Dashboard” and edit the information you’d like to correct.
How do I know if I successfully activated a test?
Once you complete activation, you’ll receive a confirmation email from hello@gosimplelab.com.
My test kit is expired. How do I activate it?
SimpleLab test kits have a shelf life of 1 year from the date of purchase. You will not be able to activate and use an expired test kit. Reach out to our support team (hello@gosimplelab.com or use the live chat feature) and we can help get you a replacement kit.
