ATR means "Average True Range". 

Algos have often looked at this ATR technique. 

If price gets to 1 ATR away from the mean, then it is possible that price will "revert back to that mean". 

If price gets 2 ATR away from the odds increase. Any 3 ATR, the odds increase even more for a reversion to the mean.

The ATR Move gives us a "range for the week" and key levels within that range and can be tied in to your other trading tools.
