Motive Wave Indicator Install
1 - Download the indicator file
From the My Indicators folder on the Simpler Trading website, open your indicator's download page.
Scroll down to the Motive Wave download section.
Click on the Click to Download button to download the file.
The Motive Wave indicator file will download to your computer.
If you are in Chrome or Firefox, the file name will appear in the lower left of the browser's window. If you want to see the folder your file downloaded to, right-click the icon to the right of the name of the indicator. From the drop-down menu, choose show in folder.
Do not attempt to directly open the indicator file, it must be imported from the Motive Wave application.
2 - Open All Studies
From the Motive Wave application, choose Study > All Studies
3 - Click Import
From the All Studies window, choose Import
4 - Choose Add
Click on Add
5 - Find and open the indicator file.
Navigate to the folder your file download to and choose the ST_indicators.jar file, and choose it from the Motive Wave Add dialog window.
6 - Import indicator file
With the file selected in the Import Studies / Strategies dialog window, click on Import.
7 - Add study to the chart
Click on the Study tab above the chart, from the drop-down, hover over Simpler Trading in the menu and choose your study.
Any Simpler Study(s) that you are authorized for, will be listed in the Simpler Trading drop-down sub menu.
The selected study will now be applied to your chart.
