Supercharge your archive. Contract Control gives you more power than ever over your documents while in the archive.
This add-on adds two additional tabs to the document details panel in your Archive: About and Audit.
Note: In order to use Contract Control at least one contract type must be created.
How to Add a Contract Type
1) Go to Settings -> Add-Ons
2) Choose Contract Control and click on the Settings tab
3) Click Add Contract Type
4) Enter a name, choose which settings you want enabled, and click save.
Note: Each of these settings is explained in detail below.
Use the About Tab
1) Open the details panel for a document in your Archive
Go to Archive
Double-click on folders to open
Single-click on a document to open the panel
2) Click on the About tab
3) Select a contract type (this is what you just created)
4) Now let me go through all of the features you get in the About tab
Document no - each document is assigned a number to help with organization and can be used with our API; click on the number to edit
Category - create these in the Contract Control settings on the add-on page
Status - mark if the document is Active, Ended, or a Draft
Manager - who the manager of this document is
Counterparty (Contact and Organization) - link the document with a contact and/or organization; searching for this contact or organization in the Archive will then bring up this document
Document fields - add document fields as metadata to a document; this data will not appear in the text of the document, but will instead help with organization (e.g. for signed sales documents you set which credit card the client signed with)his data can be access using our API
Note: This data can be accessed using our API
Document fields example:
Period & Renewal - add the start date of the contract, contract length, and more
Cost - add payment information regarding the information
Use the Audit Tab
The Audit tab shows all changes made to the document, plus the exact time and date it occurred.
