How To Allow Users To Forward The Document They Received For Signature By Another Party

This add-on allows the recipient of a document to forward the document to the correct person right from the signing page. This article will walk you through on how to enable the feature and how the recipient can use it.

Enable Transfer Signature Role

1. Make sure the Add-On is enable by opening the left menu, going to "Add-Ons" and searching for "Transfer Signature Role". The icon "Enabled" will appear if the feature is enable. If the icon does not appear just click on the Add-On and choose "Add To Simple Sign".

1. You can now start using the Add-On by clicking on "Send New" and choosing your template or document. Once the document has been opened go to "Details" and scroll down to "Allow Forward".

3. Switch on the feature and send your document!

How To Forward The Document

1. Open the document and scroll down to the end of the document and choose "Forward Document".

Note! Please make sure that documents get forwarded using this add-on as opposed to simply forwarding the email sent by Simple Sign. That way we can properly record who views and signs the document in the Audit Trail.
