On our recipe cards we have a calorie estimate per portion. This is based upon the main shopping list and won't include optional ingredients or cooking oils. We don't include cooking oil as it can vary quite considerably depending on what you use - such as if you use olive oil or low calorie cooking spray.

If you sign up for our Light plan we'll only send dishes that are roughly 600 calories or less per portion.

This is only an estimate though and can vary depending on the ingredients you use. For example different types of sausages will vary quite a lot in the number of calories. You can reduce the number of calories in each portion by using low fat substitutions such as low fat creme fraiche in place of cream.
