If you have sent an Info Request to a broker or applicant, and the response is not what you are requiring; you can 're-send' the Info Request.

There are two places that you can view an Info Request response - and in both these places, you can determine that what's been sent to you is actually not what you needed....and you can re-send the request.

Resend an Info Request from your Omni Action item

This is the typical place that you will receive and review an Info Request that you have raised while assessing a deal.

When you have received an Info Request response in Omni, the Action item will update to Info Added, and you will be able to see the detail that has been sent back to you:

If you click on the thumbnail image of the document that has been sent to you, it will open fully for you to review:

If you find that the document is not what you are after, you can 're-send' the request back to the broker/applicant by clicking 'resend'. You can add some further detail for the request, and then click resend:

The Info Request will go back into "Waiting" status:

Your target will get another invitation to login and view the request

And when they login, they will see the further detail you have added to the Info Request:

When they upload a document/add a comment/press submit:

This will then be returned back to your Info Request in Omni. You will be able to view both the original and the updated document; and also a history of the activity on the request:

⚠️You can delete documents that you dont want, if you like, by clicking the delete/bin icon. (It will be deleted permanently)

If you delete the document you don't want, you can then close off the Info Request by clicking 'Mark as Completed' - and the document will be sent to your supporting documents for you to use in the checklist.

If you click through to Supporting Docs:

You will see your document in the Supporting Documents bucket, ready for using on the checklist (it will be at the bottom of the bucket):

Resend an Info Request from the Info Request Module

All Info Requests for an application, no matter where you issue the request, will be collated in the Info Request Module. This can be found in Solutions/Application processing/Information Request:

This means that all Info Requests, whether you create them in Supporting Documents, or in Omni, or anywhere else, will land in this section.

While it's best to complete any Omni Info Requests in Omni as per the section above; if you have created an info request in supporting docs or elsewhere, these will be received and processed (eg re-sent) in the Info Requests module.

In this example, an info request was raised in Supporting Documents:

Let's assume Kate Broker has received the info request and responded. You will get an email notification that you have a waiting response - and when you login; you will be taken to the Info Requests for this application. The one that has a reply will have a green "Replied" status:

When you click on this request, you will see the response. Click on the thumbnail to open up the document viewer:

If this is not accetpable, you can choose to "resend":

You will be able to add more detail, and click "process action":

This will place the Info Request back in "Open" - and send the Info Request out again:

Your target will get the Info Request with the further detail:

And if, when they respond with the more detail:

  • you will get another notification;

  • the Info Request will change to "replied"

And you can accept the detail and send to supporting docs:
