How to use the Omni Applicant Screening Service for PEP and Sanctions checks

You are able to initiate a call to Genpact RiskCanvas service to check your applicant/s personal details for Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) and Sanctions listings.

The service ensures compliance with regulator requirements by conducting real-time screenings and flagging potential high-risk applicants for further review.

The results will be returned and can be viewed in the Digital Widget in Omni Workflow

How do I initiate the Genpact RiskCanvas check?

You can initiate the Genpact Riskcanvas check via the Applicant Screening digital widget. Go to your Digital Widget dashboard and expand it:

The Applicant Screening digital widget will be in the list of services - scroll to the service and expand the Widget:

Click "Request". This will send your applicant's details to Risk Canvas for checking against PEP and Sanctions lists:

The Widget status will change to "requesting":

The Service will take about 30 seconds to check and return a response. When the service is done, your widget will update to a "completed" status; and the service response will be "provided":

How do I see the results?

To see the results of the service, click the "details" button:

What happens if my Lender has configured to auto-run the service?

Your Lender may have configured to have the service auto-run based on an activity (usually when the Omni Workflow record is established, or when another dependant task is completed). If your Lender has configured for auto-run of the service; when you expand the Digital Widget section, you will find the Applicant Screening widget will already be "Completed":

What results can I get?

Pass

Where you get a Pass result - this will mean that your applicants do not appear on the PEP or Sanctions lists and there is nothing further to do.

Fail

Where you get a Fail result - this will mean that your applicant has been matched on a PEP or Sanction list. You will know you have an issue on the result as the widget will show a message "Screening issues" - and the status will be that an "exposure" has been identified:

Can the service be used to check Company and/or Trust Applicants?

Yes, the service will also be available/run for Company and Trust Applicants.
