This tutorial guides you through completing a loan application for submission to Move Bank.
If the Move Bank Loanapp is integrated in your aggregator CRM, skip the "Click New" step
Create a New Loanapp record
Click "New" to begin a new loan application in the Application Dashboard.
Click "Start new loan application" to proceed to the loan application form.
The Setup Page
You will need to enter your high-level application details in the Setup Page. The Application section allows you to give the submission a title, add a Primary Purpose, and loan amount details:

Next you will add your applicants.
Add all your applicants, and set as Borrowers or Guarantors
Continue to Applicants Page
When you have completed the Setup Page, Click "Applicants" to complete the full detail for each of your applicants

Complete Household section
The first section on the applicants page is the Household, which captures marital status, and the number of adults and dependants in the household
Complete Applicant Details
Next you will complete the applicant personal details.
Complete Employment details
Applicant Employment details will be captured in this section
You will select PAYG, Self-Employed or Not Employed
Then enter the full details of employer and employment income
Complete Other Details
The Other Details section is important as it establishes applicant consent
Add Identification details
As a last step you are able to enter the details of your applicants Identification - at least one document is required, with the Drivers Licence the preferred document
Click "Save" to save the entered applicant information.
Continue to the Financial Position
Click "Financial position" to enter financial details.
Banking Service
The Move Bank Loanapp includes an integrated illion bankstatements service to request your applicants bank statements and transaction data. This service is optional. There is a full knowledgebase article that has a closer look at this service.
Add any property assets
Click "Add" to enter the details of any existing properties owned by your applicants
Link Mortgages
If there is a Mortgage against this property asset, you are able to enter the details here
Click "Done" to complete the loan entry process.
Add any Savings accounts
Add any existing savings accounts, including superannuation
Add Other Assets
Add any other assets such as motor vehicles, home contents
Add Liabilities
You are able to add any further liabilities such as credit cards
Click "Done" to finish entering financial details.
Add Declared Living Expenses
And finally, add the declared living expenses. Note that the Digital Living Expenses will be populated from the Banking Service, if you use it
Navigate to Loan Page
Continue to the Loan Page to set the details of your loan
The Loan Page
Security Section
The first section of the Loan and Serviceability page is the security section - where you enter the details of your security property.
Note if this is a refinance, this section will be auto-completed by the data you entered in the Financial Position
Loan Details Section
Next you will set the Loan Amount, Ownership and purpose for the loan
Select Product
Then, as you enter the details of your required loan, the Loanapp product selector will filter the matching products for you to select.
Select any features
Make sure you click any required features like redraw and offset, and then continue to Serviceability section
Continue to Serviceability Section
You will note that Loanapp requires you to complete an existing Move Bank serviceability calculator. Click through to Compliance
The Compliance Section
Compliance is where you record your applicant understandings of the loan process, reasons for applying,
Select Preferences
Add detail as to how they will repay the loan should they retire before paying out
Confirm Risk Explanation
Confirm their preferences which should match the selected product
Add Final Notes
Add any final notes
Navigate to Summary Page
Click "Go to Summary page" to review the application summary.
Review your application data and return to loanapp to update anything
Go to the Documents Section
Go to the Documents section to generate application forms
Download Documents
Which you can download once generated
Navigate to Submission Page
Click "Go to Submission page" to finalise the submission.
Generate Document Checklist
On the Submission page, click "Generate document checklist" to create a checklist of required documents.
Supporting Documents Module
This will take you to the supporting documents module which will list all the required supporting documents to be uploaded to support your submission
Upload Documents
Click "Upload" to upload your supporting documents
Your uploaded documents will populate in the Documents Bucket.
Attach Documents
You can then drag documents across from the Document Bucket to the checklist requirements on the left
See the full required documents
Click "Show All" to see all the required documents, or select a particular document category from the dropdown
Continue to attach documents
Continue to attach documents to your checklist requirements.
You cannot submit until all documents are uploaded
Move Bank require you to upload all required documents before submitting your application. If you try to submit before you have completed the checklist, you will get this error message
Finalise Upload
Go back to the supporting documents module; and upload documents to any outstanding category.
Submit your application
When you are ready, click "Proceed" to submit your application to Move Bank for Assessment
You can monitor and access your submitted application on Application Dashboard
Your submitted application will appear on your Application Dashboard with the status of Application Submitted. You can re-open your Loanapp record from the dashboard, and monitor assessment progress
