AMP Bank Loanapp has two Employment Income verification services built into the workflow. It is mandatory to have tried to complete employment income verification - this will mean that AMP can accept your applicant's income, with no further assessment.

If you have got this error message, it means you have not yet tried or completed these services.

There are two services you can use

Loanapp has two services that can verify employment income:

  • Payroll Income Verification, which verifies your applicant's income against source of truth payroll services. This works really well for PAYG applicants, especially in government or larger organisations that use Payroll Services

  • Income via Uploaded Documents, which OCR's your applicant payslips or Income Tax Returns, and then verifies their employment income. This works for both PAYG and Self Employed applicants:

You need to ensure Digital Consent and Digital VOI are completed

Neither of the services can be used until you have received the Digital Consent and Digital VOI from your applicants.

Loanapp will automatically try the Payroll Income Verification service... but only when your applicants have completed the digital VOI service. If you are getting this error message, it is most likely because your applicants haven't completed the Digital VOI.

On the Applicants Page, you need to have "completed" both the Digital Consent, and the Verification of Identity (VOI):

If you haven't got Completed on both of these, the Digital Verification of Income services cannot yet be used. Please get in touch with your applicants to complete the services.

Loanapp with automatically try Payroll Income Verification

When your applicants have completed the Digital VOI, Loanapp will automatically try the Payroll Income Verification service.

If you get a positive match, you will have satisfied this error rule to complete a digital verification of Employment income; and you can match the verified income against your declared amounts.

You can try to verify Income via Uploaded Documents

If there is no successful match to the Payroll Income Verification service, you can then upload the applicant's payslips or other income documents to OCR. Once this is done, you can then match against your declared amounts.
