Granite is upgrading their e-lodgement interface to Loanapp V2. This is what you can expect

The Granite e-lodgement platform is Loanapp - and Granite is upgrading their Loanapp to the new V2 interface. It's easier to use, faster, and got lots of great functionality like Digital Consent and VOI, digital signatures, valuations and more. Easy Refi applications are available for regular applicants, and SMSFs.

The rollout of the new interface will be staggered, this article gives you all the details.

Stage 1: Direct Login and Easy Refi

The first stage will be to rollout the Loanapp Easy Refi Journey. This is a journey specifically built for Easy Refis - less application data, fewer supporting docs, and faster approvals.

The first stage of the rollout will require Direct Login use only (ie you will NOT be able to launch V2 via your aggregator CRM).

You will receive an email invitation from Granite

Granite will register you in their Loanapp channel, and this will trigger an email invitation to be sent to your email:

When you click on the invite, you will see the following message with a button to click through to finalise your login credentials:

When you click on the button, you will be taken to the login page to finalise your credentials with a password:

Your login will always be your email address. You need to add a password.

If you don't get directed to the password screen, this is because you are already registered with Loanapp (and Simpology Manager) with another lender. Simply use your existing password to login

Once you have set your password, you will be directed to the login screen and be able to login the Simpology Manager:

When you login to Simpology Manager, you will land on the Application Grid, which will be empty as you have not yet created an application:

To start a new Easy Refi Loanapp application, go to Solutions/Loanapp:

This will launch Loanapp in a new URL, and you can create a new Easy Refi application by clicking NEW:

You will get a pop-up asking which journey you would like to use, please select "Start New Easy Refi":

⚠️ Even though the "Start New Loan Application" (which is a full application) is there, it will not work...so please use Loanapp V1 for any full applications.

You will need to still use Loanapp V1 for Full Applications (non-Easy Refi applications)

For the next month or so (March/April), only Easy Refi submissions will be able to be submitted via the new V2 Loanapp, and will require Direct Login (you can't launch Loanapp V2 from your Aggregator CRM yet).

This means:

For Full Applications

For Easy Refi Applications

You can launch via aggregator CRM integration

Direct Login only

You use the old V1 Loanapp to submit:

You use the new V2 Loanapp to submit:

Stage 2: ALL Applications will be submitted via Loanapp V2

We anticipate that in 1-2 months, you will be able to submit all Granite applications via Loanapp V2.


This will mean:

  • you will be able to launch Loanapp V2 from your Aggregator CRM

  • you will be able to submit any Granite application via Loanapp V2

You'll get further detail about the full rollout in the next month.
