You are able to raise an Info Request to request documents or information from brokers, consumers, or even internal stakeholders while you are assessing in Omni.
The basic steps of raising and receiving an MIR are:
Create and send your request
Receive and reply to a request
Finalise the reply in Omni Action item
Create and send your request
In most Action Items, you are able to click Request Info to raise and send an Info Request:
This will popup a new screen that allows you to add the detail of the Information you are requesting, and who you are sending the request to:
Give the Information Request a title
Provide further detail on your request
If you are requesting a document, you are then able to select a document from your Documents Checklist
Select a Channel (the branding of your request)
Select who to send the request to.
Person generally is someone related to the application but outside of the organisation (eg broker, applicant).
Team is generally internal teams that you have configured (eg Settlements team). You can then select a target person from the team.
Send Request
Note that the "Document" that you can select in the request will either be selected from your existing Supporting Documents checklist options:
It might be, though, that you want a document that is NOT in your regular supporting documents checklist. In this circumstance, you can select "Customer Document":
Which will then let you add a free-form document requirement:
|
You can also add more than one document requirement to the Info Request. In the following example, we have used the Add Item button to add 2 requirements:
When you have posted your request, you will see it as a new line item in the Action Item, in the "Waiting" status:
Receive a request response
Your target will receive email notification that they have a request waiting for them. They will need to click on the link provided in the email:
And login to the secure Simpology Portal (note in a real example, this will be branded the same as your brand):
Once logged in, the receiver will be able to review any request/s and attach documents and/or add comments to send back to the requester.
Note: A person can login and reply to an Info Request on any device |
The receiver will be able to click on each request and see further detail, upload any required documents and add any comments to also be returned:
Once ready, they can submit the response to each requirement:
(Any remaining requirements will then need to be attended to):
Finalise the MIR in Omni Action Item:
When an MIR Info Request is sent back to you, your Omni Action item will change from "Waiting" to "Info Added":
You will be able to re-open the item and see the detail that has been returned to you:
You are able to click on any uploaded documents to review:
If you are happy with the returned document/information and happy to close out the request, you can click "Mark as Provided":
This will send the document to Supporting Documents, ready for you to attach to a checklist item and verify/validate in regular processes.
