Loanapp and Simpology Manager has a great feature called Information Request..which allows you to send a digital request to an applicant (or other party involved in the application) to upload required documents, or to provide information.

The "Okay to receive Info Requests" tick box means that person will be able to receive and reply to Info Requests.

๐Ÿšจ If you do not tick this box, that person will not be able to be included in any Info Requests.

Where is this tick box?

The "Okay to receive Info Requests" can be found on the first page of Loanapp, in the Setup section, where you add your "Participants" to your application:

The tick box is generally found next to each Participant:

Generally, Lenders will configure so that certain participants (such as the Broker), is defaulted to ticked, and even have the field disabled, so that you can't change it.

This is generally because Lenders want to be able to send Brokers MIRs (Missing Information Requests) to brokers.

For Applicants, generally Lenders will configure Loanapp so that the "Okay" is auto-ticked (so you dont forget to), but you are able to untick if you don't want your Applicants to receive Information Requests.

Remember that you need to ensure this is ticked if you want to use Information Requests with your Applicants
