When you have completed capturing the data in your Loanapp application, a final step is generating the required Application forms. Once you've generated your forms, you can choose to use Docusign to send the forms to your applicant/s for easy and convenient document review and signing.
Where do I generate my Application Forms?
You can generate your required Applications Forms, which will be populated with your Application Data, from the Documents section.
The forms required for your application will be listed; and you can click Generate Documents to generate them:
Once generated, you can then choose to download and view/check the generated forms:
The Documents Panel will also note who needs to sign each document. If you want to use Docusign, you are able to then "Request eSign". This will send a Docusign invite to each participant. In this example:
Mary, the Applicant, will receive a Docusign invite with both forms to be signed
Kate, the Broker, will receive a Docusign invite with just the Needs Analysis to be signed
When you have successfully sent the eSign request, the Documents widget status will change to Waiting and Signature Requested.
You will also have some new controls to cancel the request; or Resend the request:
Your applicant's experience
When you have requested signature via Docusign, your applicant/s will receive an email from Granite requesting them to "Please Sign Documents":
Your applicants will then follow the general Docusign workflow to sign the Application Form/s.
What happens in Loanapp?
When your Applicant/s have signed the Application forms, the Documents section in Loanapp will update to the status 'Signing Complete'. In the following screenshot, the Applicant has signed, but the Broker still needs to:
When the Broker also signs, the Documents section will show that the status is now "Signing Complete". If you click on the details and download the Document, it will now be the signed version:
Note that you and the Applicants will also receive a finalised/signed version of the Documents via email.
The finalised/signed documents will also automatically be attached to the supporting document requirement in the supporting documents checklist π€©
Other Controls in the Documents Panel
There are some other controls in the Documents Panel you might want to use while finalising your Application forms.
Regenerate Forms
You might realise that the generated forms has incorrect or missing data. If this is the case, you can update the data in Loanapp, and then press "Regenerate" at any time:
This will remove the existing forms, and replace them with new ones.
Cancel or Resend Request
When you have a pending eSign request and it is not yet completed you can:
Cancel the request. You may want to do this when you realise, eg, you need to update the data on the forms. When you use this control, it cancels (Voids) the entire Docusign envelope (all documents, to all applicants). Note that the applicant/s will receive a Void email via Docusign.
Resend the request. You can do this PER document, PER applicant. This will simply send the Docusign invite, again, to the applicant/s.
