As a first step, we recommend that you double-check that you have definitely achieved both of the minimum criteria to earn a certificate:

  • minimum study time in the module: 60 minutes

  • minimum score in a Test Mode simulation: 80% (note that Practice Mode and Learn Mode scores don't count towards a certificate.)
By the way, if there are no simulations for the module, then you need to score at least 80% in a quiz.

After you've achieved both of those criteria, you'll need to log out and log in again to trigger the system to recalculate your eligibility for a certificate. Now you can download your certificate.

To access your certificates on a laptop: in the Logbook, click on the Summary tab and look to the far right of the page for a column called Certificates, marked in red on the screenshot below. If you are eligible for any certificates, you'll find the Download buttons there.

โ€‹To access your certificates on a mobile device: in the Logbook, tap on the Summary tab, then tap on Expand Details. Scroll down to the relevant module. If you've met the minimum certificate criteria, you'll see a green Download button for each module that you've successfully completed.

IMPORTANT: The information on a certificate is locked to the date when you first achieved the minimum criteria and the score that you achieved on that date. If you get a better Test Mode simulation score later on, it will not appear on the certificate. For a completely up to date record of your scores and study times, we recommend that you download the 1-page Module Snapshot Summary instead - explained in the next section.

Alternative to Certificates - the Module Snapshot Summary

As a general comment, our certificates of completion were originally designed for individual web subscribers who are not studying at a school. If you are at a school and you simply need a document to confirm that you have studied a SIMTICS module and achieved certain scores, we recommend you use the Module Snapshot Summary instead of the certificate - the Module Snapshot will always show your latest scores.

You can download this 1-page document from your logbook, in the Summary tab, using the View button in the far right column:
