The best advice we can give you is to start with the SIMTICS Tutorial. This explains how SIMTICS is laid out, how to find your way around, and it covers some tips and tricks too. The Tutorial is set up as a SIMTICS module, so while you're using the Tutorial, you'll also be practicing how to get around the product.
In the Tutorial, you'll find:
a 20-minute video
a text version of the video narration
a sample anatomy (heart and lungs)
a sample simulation that will introduce you to the different types of interactive steps that you'll find in a real simulation
a quiz so you can check how much you learned about SIMTICS.
How to access the Tutorial:
If you access SIMTICS from links in your school's system, they should have set up a link to the Tutorial for you. If you can't find it, please contact us using the chat icon in the bottom left corner of this page so we can check with your system administrator. In the meantime, you can view the Tutorial video on our YouTube channel.
If you log in to the SIMTICS website at https://new.simtics.com, then you'll find a Tutorial button on your dashboard home page at the bottom right of the page (circled in yellow below):
TIP: The Tutorial is a great resource that you can go back to later on, as well. If you have a question about the product, go to the text in the Explore component and use the "find" option in your web browser to search for a word or term on that web page, e.g. "logbook" or "simulation".
Of course, you can also search in this Help Center for articles about different topics.
