First of all - how do you normally access SIMTICS? Do you access SIMTICS assignments through your school's system, or do you go to the SIMTICS website to log in? Choose the relevant option below:

a) I use assignments set up in my school's system:
In this case, you do not have a username/password to log in at the SIMTICS site. You simply need to log in to your school's system and click on SIMTICS assignment links there. That is your official school account and ensures your SIMTICS work and the scores you achieve are linked to your school grade book.

b) I always log in at the SIMTICS website:
To create or change your password, go to https://www.simtics.com/forgot-password/ and enter your username (email address).

Our system will send an email to the address we have on file for your account, with instructions on how to set your password. These messages are sent from an automated system, so if the email doesn't arrive in your Inbox within a minute or two, please check your non-primary folders (updates/promotions/junk/spam, etc.) because it might have been routed there by your email server.

NOTE: Your password must always contain at least 8 characters and you must use 3 of the 4 possible character types (uppercase, lowercase, number, special character/symbol). Make sure there are no spaces at the beginning or end of the character string you type in.

SIMTICS passwords are "case sensitive". This means that if you type a capital letter when creating your password, you must always use a capital letter for that character whenever you enter your password to log in, e.g. the letter "f" is different from the letter "F". Note that you can click on the "eye" icon in the password field to view the password in clear text as you type it in. This makes it easier to check for accuracy. (Click the "eye" icon again to mask it.)
